The BHHS Career Technical Education Program (CTE) provides students with hands-on experience in a variety of fields through many dynamic project-based learning courses from Broadcast to Digital Cinema, Culinary to Entrepreneurship. Our robotics program operates as part of the CTE program. Our team greatly benefits from CTE’s financial support, as it covers some of our operational team’s expenses.

NASA is a proud supporter of FIRST. For many years, the NASA Robotics Alliance Project (RAP) has been supporting participation in the FIRST Robotics Competition by providing grants to high school teams as well as sponsoring FIRST. NASA provided us with funding for the regional competition as a reward for winning the Engineering Inspiration Award at the 2015 FIRST Robotics Competition Season. This award is granted to the team best celebrates outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within a team’s school and community.

Burger Lounge, based in La Jolla, CA, opened its doors in 2011. The company grew out of the idea that a hamburger should not only taste great, but should also utilize healthy ingredients produced in a sustainable environment. They have kindly assisted us in the process of creating our annual Design-A-Robot challenge for middle and elementary school students.
The Beverly Hills Education Foundation supports the five public schools in the Beverly Hills Unified School District, annually providing much needed funds for high-quality educational programming and enrichment opportunities that go beyond the norm to achieve excellence in Beverly Hills public schools. EKOCYCLE was created as an effort between the Coca-Cola company and will.i.am to promote sustainable living by supporting products made part from recycled materials and emphasizing the importance of recycling. EKOCYCLE donated more than 1,500 new EKOCYCLETM Cube® 3D printers to FIRST. This donation provides more than 125,000 student members of FIRST Robotics and Tech Challenge teams access to an EKOCYCLE Cube 3D printer. Last year, we were fortunate enough to win a contest which awarded us with an EKOCYCLE Cube 3D printer.
